1. LANTICA PIZZERIA DA MICHELE dal 1870
One of the oldest and most famous pizzerias in Napoli. They serve only two pizzas and for a pro tip- grab a seat next to the restaurant in one of the caffes. Usually it’s jam packed inside the pizzeria but the caffe staff can take your order and you’ll get your pizza faster than if you wait for a table. 5,50 € per pizza.

2. FRITTI DI SERAFINO– CUPPO
Fried fish in a cone- CUPPO! What a beautiful word. A mix of small fried anchovies, squid, white fish, shrimp and zucchini blossoms. There are quite a few variation but all as tasty as the original. They usually go for 6-10 € a cone.

3. SCATURCHIO – SFOGLIATELLE
Tasty riccota and vanilla custard pies. Flakey pastries that take you back to your childhood. They go for 2-3 € a piece and the best ones can be found in SCATURCHIO Napoli dal 1905. There are two types of Sfogliata-Sfogliata Riccia and Sfogliata Frolla; one is a crunchy pastry while the other has a shortcrust base.
Located in the heart of centro storico these pastries will make your heart skip a beat.
4. PASTICCERIA CAPPARELLI-BABA
Naples is the city for sweets. All pastry shops are open late and are a must try with an espresso or cappuccino in the morning. One of the best seller is the classic baba with rum. Hearty pastry soaked in rum. Everything you need on a hot summer night. Delicious!
5. CALA LA PASTA – PASTA ALLA GENOVESE
Pasta with stewed veel and caramelized onions. Full of flavour, one of the most traditional pasta dishes in Napoli. For all pasta lovers it’s one of the things you come back to!
