One of Europe’s leading low-budget carriers, Ryanair has been making headlines for months now. Selling cheap flight tickets starting at 4.99€ only for global travel!

Ryanair is headquartered in Dublin, and their flights connect 37 countries with 225 destinations. It’s the worlds fourth largest airline and the greenest airline in Europe. In 35 years of operating they never had an accident. Pretty impressive if you ask us.

10 thing you need to know before traveling with Ryainair

– Search for options on Skyscanner, Kiwi or use Ryanair application. You can filter flights and choose the cheapest month to travel for a specific destination. Put the tracking mode and and watch as your flight gets more and more affordable.

  • Ryanair airports are usually remote airports which provide low-budget flights and you will need transportation to the city; bus, tram or train is always nearby.

– Think about what you need for your trip- backpack only aka VALUE FARE is the cheapest option. If you need more luggage it’s always cheaper to add a suitcase while you’re buying your ticket than adding it after.

  • Seats are charged from 4€ up and its not obligated to choose one. If you don’t have a seat you will be randomly allocated.

– Obey the baggage size restriction. 40x20x25 cm is the maximum size for value fare backpack. PRIORITY passengers can also take one bag the size of 40x20x25 cm, plus an additional bag with a maximum weight and size of 10kg and 55x40x20 cm. The fine can be up to 100€ and the same goes for a name change. It’s cheaper to buy a new ticket than to change a name.

We also have to lookout for :

– Eveything on your flight has to be paid extra. No freebies. Only paying method is by card.

  • Check in online 24 hours before your flight.
    If you decide to check in at the airport, there will be a fee of €55.

Cancellation policy– if your flights is canceled a month or more before your scheduled departure you’re not entitled to compensation, only a refund or choosing another flight. If there’s a delay or a last minute cancellation you have the same right as any other passengers on traditional airlines.

+Watch out for crazy deals. One or two months before every seasson there are great deal. Sign up for a newsletter and be on the lookout!

+Tips & tricks– middle of the plane is always cold. Extra leg room seats are the coldes. Choose seats in the front of the plane. Seats in the back are usually reserved for families so it can get very noisy! Also, pack a pillow. It can be good to have some extra space for clothes 😀
